The characters are unhelpful and uninteresting. Too many items will not load until very specific prompts happen which remove any semblence of discovering items before you hit the right sequence of dialogue or puzzle events. Master Sleuth frustrating to do without walkthrough This game is definitely better for the 12 and up crowd, as the puzzles can get challenging (I say this as a 21 year old who had to use the cheat codes) and it can be a little bit spooky- it is a murder mystery after all! Game runs really smoothly on my 2010 Macbook Air. I also enjoyed the new feature of "facetime" on Nancy's phone, but was sad to see that it was not a genuine video. It's definitely a whodoneit until the game is over. While I would recommend almost all of the games, what is nice is that this one seems very much like the earlier games in the sense of character development (think of the development/relationships we had in Secrets Can Kill!) No only that, but the plot is completely engaging. This is an excellent addition to the collection of anyone who has played and enjoyed Nancy Drew games in the past.
As is the style of all Nancy Drew PC/MAC games, this is a first person point and click mystery game.
